PrestaShop

Install the Hellio Messaging module on your PrestaShop 1.7 or 8 store and start sending order updates, OTPs and bulk SMS in a few minutes. The screens below are mockups of what you will see in the Back Office.

You need a Hellio account and PrestaShop 1.7 or 8. Do not have an account yet? Create one free.

Get the module

Download helliosms-prestashop-1.0.0.zip from GitHub. Every version is on the releases page.

Upload the module

Go to Modules, Module Manager, click Upload a module and choose the zip. PrestaShop installs it and offers a Configure button.

Configure the module

Click Configure. Enter your Hellio email and password and click Connect. The module stores only the token it gets back, never your password. Two-factor accounts are asked for a code. Then set a default Sender ID and save.

Set up order messages

Turn on the order states you want to text customers about and edit each template. Placeholders like {customer_first_name} and {order_number} fill in per order.

Turn on checkout OTP (optional)

Enable OTP to verify the customer's phone before the order is validated. Pick the code length and how long it stays valid.

Send a test

Use the Send SMS panel to fire a message to your own number and confirm everything works. It accepts one number or a pasted list.
